Title Research: Watch the Titles Website

Another website I was researching regarding titles is 'Watch the Titles!' From this website, I saw the processes in making a title sequences and the time constraints behind it. When creating title sequences, the designer and artist typically weed out the storyline, theme, objectives, and characters in their creative processes. This enables them to work with a guide or map out how the title sequences will materialize on screen. In times of time constraint creators will collaborate and generate as much ideas as possible to the playing field and work from there. I learned that title sequences in the making isn't necessarily a linear process. Ideas are constantly juggled upon, contemplated, or straight up thrown away. Their ideas will be sketched over and over again, when it comes to fonts, how character will look, etc. It seems that title sequences have the same calculated nature as film-making, and its proven to be just as important. The primary goal of title sequences is to establish the rhetoric effectively in regards to the film, so the viewing experience could be smooth in tone from front to back.
